Furthermore, such a mindset is a Christian virtue. To defend such a statement, there are passages like Proverbs 14:23, “In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.” Being a hard worker, in other words, is a good character quality. Yet, there is a spiritual danger such a mindset may produce.
