Cedar Heights Baptist Church believes it's important to teach kids how to worship and why we worship.

MusicMakers is a worship arts class for kids in K3-K5. Kids learn basic music theory and play instruments. The ultimate goal for kids is to learn how to glorify and praise God through music and art.

PraiseKids is a worship arts class for 1st-5th grade. Kids learn music theory with the use of praise songs and hymns. Kids sing, play instruments, dance, and dig deeper into God's word.

 

Both groups perform during Cedar Heights’ annual Christmas Night of Worship, and they produce a spring program every year.

 

Kids who have finished 3rd-5th grade are able to attend JoyWorks, a worship arts summer camp for kids at Ouachita Baptist University.

 

MusicMakers and PraiseKids meet at 6:30 PM on Wednesday nights during the school year. The ministry is located in the kids area of the education building.
